A kimono inspired by traditional Japanese kimonos.
The depth of the pattern, skilfully created by combining blue forget-me-not flowers with light hydrangea flowers that appear to be covered in shadow against a black background, attracts attention.
The kimono is made of fabric with a distinctive diagonal weave. A black silk satin lining has been sewn into the inside.
The forget-me-not kimono, like all other kimonos by Monika Adamska, has many characteristic design elements, such as miyatsukuchi (unstitched front and back parts below the armpits) and the characteristic shape of the sleeves, given by the presence of sode-guchi (sleeve opening) and furi (unstitched part of the sleeve).
