Kimono 17 is sewn with the brand's characteristic attention to detail, such as unique handmade finishes and invisible machine stitching. These emphasise the texture of the silk jacquard-like fabric and allow attention to be focused on the pattern with a delicate floral motif in muted colours.
Inspired by the traditional Japanese kimono, Kimono 17, like all other kimonos by Monika Adamska, has many elements characteristic of them, such as miyatsukuchi (unstitched parts of the front and back below the armpits) or the characteristic shape given by the presence of sode-guchi (opening of the sleeve) and furi (unstitched part of the sleeve) visible in the construction of the sleeves.
