The Kimono 15 is sewn with the brand's signature attention to detail, such as unique handmade finishes and invisible machine stitching. These emphasise the texture of the silk bourette, combining the natural beauty of a raw fabric with uneven fibres with the delicate sheen characteristic of silk.
Inspired by the traditional Japanese kimono, Kimono 15, like all other kimonos by Monika Adamska, has many elements characteristic of them, such as miyatsukuchi (unstitched parts of the front and back below the armpits) or the characteristic shape given by the presence of sode-guchi (opening of the sleeve) and furi (unstitched part of the sleeve) visible in the construction of the sleeves.
